Ok so I got in a car accident last month where I hit a car and I didn't have a license or insurance, & his insurance company (infinity) sent me a letter today stating We must respectfully deny your claim as our investigation determined that we did not insure the above party for the loss indicated so my question is what does that mean? Do I have to pay the guy personally?? They also state that I must settle my claim within two years of the loss or three for property damage. What happened to his car? The bumper just fell off. Its almost time to renew my auto insurance policy, and I have a $1000 deductible. Ive thought about going down to a $500 deductible, because I recently had some minor damage to my car (a kid threw a rock at my window and it broke) and my insurance would not pay for it because the estimate was under $1000.
